Got pulp?

Wondering what to do with all that leftover pulp you got after juicing?

Make something delicious with it like a moist bread or some warm muffins.

Juicing is one of the healthiest ways to get your daily intake of fruits and veggies.


But then, you’re left with all that pulp. What do you do with it? Do you just throw it away?

No! A lot of the nutrients are in the pulp so if you throw it away, you are throwing away all the good stuff.

Here’s what I did instead:

I baked a bread using the pulp from my ABC drink recipe.

I used Food Network’s recipe, Juice Pulp Quick Bread (there’s a how-to video too) and simply substituted my ABC pulp.

It is very easy to make, all the usual baking ingredients, flour, sugar, etc and pulp.

After it came out of the oven, I could not believe how tasty and scrumptious this pulp bread was. It was very dense and moist.

I tried it with my ABC drink and they were both utterly delicious (and healthy too).

Now you don’t just have to use pulp to enjoy this recipe. I had some leftover blueberries in the fridge and I made a blueberry bread with it. And it was equally enjoyable.

The bottom line is that we can make delicious and healthy recipes out of what might have been thrown away (like juice pulp).

Besides delicious bread, this recipe would also make tasty muffins too.
