Hi, I’m Kendra.

Welcome to my lifestyle blog.

This blog was created because I wanted to find ways ( that worked) as a SAHM to have more time and money so I could do what I love everyday and still get stuff done. And, as a result, live a better quality of life.

More Money

Before becoming a SAHM, I was a Computer Technology teacher for 9 years.

While working as a teacher, I had a steady income so I was financially independent. However after becoming a SAHM, in a few months, I basically went from having some extra money every month to practically no money.

Long story short, I was no longer financially independent and I’ve had to depend mainly on my spouse’s income.

This was a bit of an adjustment since I was always used to having my own money. It was then that I realized that depending on anyone financially even your spouse, kinda sucks. Having your own money is always better.

The good news is that for us SAHMs there are plenty of legit online jobs now available that can be supplemental income or even turn into a full-time income. So it’s so much easier for SAHMs to be able to contribute financially.

So I started to find ways where I could go from just being a SAHM to a WAHM (Work At Home Mom) and save and make money so I can again be financially independent.

More Time

I’ve always loved to sew, knit/crochet, bake etc and I would always find the time to do it even when I was working a full time job.

However, since becoming a mom, things have gotten “more busy” and it’s been a challenge to find the time to do the things I love to do.

There’s never-ending work to be done: laundry, cooking, cleaning, errands to run etc.

Taking care of a little one (feeding and changing (every minute it seems like), taking her out for playtime etc is a full-time job in itself. But I am determined to find ways where I can find the time to do what I love to do and still be an awesome mom.

If you can relate to any or all of the above, then you’ve come to the right place.

Let’s make more time, make more money, and live a better quality of life.

Independent and Prosperous
